Guards are neutral NPCs found through the land of Mercia. They keep cities, castles, camps and villages safe from hostile Bandit and Players who are keen on attacking people of the land and other players. They will chase hostile players for a short amount of time and return to their posts. There are two variation of Guards: melee and ranged. Guard's will warn players to not seethe their weapons and that killing and stealing isn't permitted in the city walls. Guards will attack players who are infected above certain amount to prevent plague spreading on other players if he's nearby. Killing a Guard yields no XP.
