Food and Drink are essential to your survival in The Black Death. Below you can find Basic Foods, Prepared Foods and Drink items that are found in Mercia.

Basic Food[]

Basic Foods can be purchased from Food Merchants around the world or can be looted from the corpses of Bandits, Monks and other enemies.

Apples can be purchased from Merchants around Mercia. Apples can also be stolen from Food Crates found on Merchant stalls. They can also be found when looting the corpses of enemies such as Bandits and are common in there drop rate. When eaten, an Apple restores a small amount of Hunger and Thirst.

Wild Berries are harvested from Berry Bushes that are found in the wild around Mercia. They can sometimes also yield Berry Seeds, these can be planted on a players Farmland.

Eaten raw they can be a deadly meal that can poison you. If you use Wild Berries with other resources they can be cooked into Berry Jam, a safer meal to eat. When eaten, as Wild Berries they restore a small amount of Hunger and Thirst with a chance of poison/infection.

These seeds can then be planted and grown into more Wheat. Wheat Seeds can also be purchased from the Peasant Contract NPC, and found in the Wheat Sack located on the Farmland.
